   Good location. Spacious apartment which was good for a young family.

   Attention to room maintenance was poor. Air con not effective. The main bedroom was too hot to sleep in. Many broken handles, lights, tiles, fixtures. No wi fi. Not very attentive host.

   The top floor apartment is very comfortable and well located both for in-city activity and for train and bus transportation (walking distance from both stations). The living room window is right over Piazza Napoleone, and the distant vista is of green mountains. The kitchen and bathrooms were adequate and comfortably appointed. The beds and bedrooms were fine. Giancarlo, the landlord, is very knowledgeable and willingly helpful. There are stores, restaurants, bakeries and cafe's nearby. And compared to other places we considered, we thought it was a quite good value. Free wifi was nearby in Piazza San Salvatore and Piazza San Michele.

   I have nothing negative to say about our stay the 60 steps up was good exercise for us but might be a challenge for some.

   The apartment was more than sufficient. We were able to cook, relax and watch the people down stairs through the many windows. It was so central, walking distance to everything. Also very close to bus station and train station. Giancarlo was adorable. Our stay was fantastic. Loved it and would return again.

   some loose and cracked tiles on floor but no big deal

   The apartment is really comfortable, clean, well equipped and roomy. It is on the third floor which presents as a challenge with the luggage but is worth it fot the view of the piazza below. It is close to the station, shops and restaurants.

   We paid the initial deposit by credit card. However, only cash was accepted for the remainder of the bill. It should be made clear on the website that payment must be in cash.

   Fabulous position. Lucca was our favourite stop in Italy. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Our daughters aged 14 & 17 loved the apartment and the freedom of being in the middle of the medieval cite.

   A wonderful place to stay! The apartment was lovely and in a perfect location, very close to the train station and some great cafes. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Our family had a wonderful holiday in Lucca and can't wait to go back. We highly recommend Vio Vittorio apartment.
