   Everything was great....especially the kindness shown by Monica. The age and history of the building made us feel really a part of this beautiful city. We were very comfortable in the apartment which had a cosy feel. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance and there is a lovely atmosphere in the town at night as well as during the day.

   La Contradella was perfect. Monica, the owner could not have been more helpful. This is the perfect place for two people when visiting Bergamo Citta Alta.

   Plenty of space for the two of us. Ok distance to the old town.

   We hadn't much use for it, but the TV-facilities could have been better. It was all Italian.

   We stayed for 2 nights and woudl highly recommend stayign here. The owner is the nicest lady and she actually picked us up at the airport (even though our flight didn't land until 11pm) and.......she charged €40 less than the taxi quote i had recieved for the same journey! she even picked us up on the day we were departing and drove us to the train station for our trian to Milan. i would not hestitate to recommend Monica and her apartment to anyone. Bergamo was a beautiful city and i woudl like to return. if i do then i will stay here again, Location was perfect and the flat is beside a lovely little restuarant who whilst had stopped servign food by the time we arrived, happily accomodated us with a bottle of wine and large plate of declious antipasti.

   The location of Contradella was perfect, quiet and cosy. Ideal for a couple staying for a short stay. Monica was delightful and breakfast supplied was lovely. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Holiday Apartment La Contradella is small but very nice, located in the historical town of Bergamo Alta, very close to the splendid Piazza Vecchia and to the most important monuments of the medieval area.

The holiday apartment is composed by a living room and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, TV-DVD and Hi-fi system.

The sleeping area consists in with two single beds in the living room and one double bedroom and is served by a bathroom with large shower box
