   The home is situated on a hillside in a "real village" (i.e., a place where farmers work and live, not just a holiday resort). The location offers many opportunities for walking and hiking. The slopes of Monte Pore, immediately behind the house, have a rich flora and fauna. Within a range of 15 km from Colle S.Lucia, there are very many hiking trails in diverse surroundings (at different altitudes and expositions). We never saw so many orchids (species and individual plants) in our entire life! A small but adequate supermarket is at walking distance (150 m). The beds, bathroom and shower are quite good.

   We have no real complaints, it was a great vacation. However, the house had three (minor) drawbacks: (1) we could not adjust the central heating so the temperature indoors stayed at 15 to 17 degrees C (there were no instructions for operation of the heating system); (2) we missed an electric coffee machine; (3) the kitchen (including a fridge, a freezer and a stpve) was nice but the number of kitchen utensils was rather small.

The Holiday Apartment Cèsa da Riz has 3 apartments, two of which are located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4 people; they are composed of: living room with kitchen and 2 beds, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, terrace with panoramic views over the Dolomites.

The other apartment is on the first floor; it has 7 sleeping beds and is composed of 3 bedrooms, living room/entrance, kitchen, bathroom with shower and panoramic views.

Each apartment is furnished with TV , fully autonomous heating with natural gas, adjacent private car parking.

All rooms of Holiday Apartment Cèsa da Riz are comfortable, rustic and with good finishing.

Here you can enjoy Nordic walking, trekking, mountain biking, to the sun of the Dolomites in a few minutes to skicivetta area.
