Farmhouse Podernovo is an old farmhouse, of the 19th century, made of stone, only 2 km far from the centre of San Casciano dei Bagni, in the Tuscan country side near Siena.

It is made up of a large sitting room with a big fireplace, 3 bedrooms, for a total of 6 beds, all of them with a wonderful view on the hills surrounding it.

Farmhouse Podernovo has 2 bathrooms, kitchen with washing machine and a satellite TV set, independent heating according to the consumption.

The farmhouse has a big swimming pool (12X6 m.) , nicely shaped with a semi-circular staircase and provided with a spring-board. It is completely surrounded by the green countryside but also provided with night lighting.

Swimming inside the pool gives a wonderful sensation like flying over the hill, with a wonderful 360 degrees view over the landscape. There are also available large sunshade and deck chairs.

There is as well a very comfortable external shower with water hot and cold.

Farmhouse Podernovo is located on the Southern part of a charming area near Siena, very close to the antique and characteristic village of San Casciano dei Bagni, famous for its hot water springs gushing out at 42 degree centigrade.
