   Posizione ottima , a cinque- dieci minuti da San Marco a piedi. Padrona di casa disponibilissima e gentilissima. Camera grande e possibilita di utilizzare la cucina. Colazione ottima e abbondante.

   Except for walking down one alley full of construction and another full of garbage, we needed three keys to get into our room. I suppose we were safe once we were in there.

   One of the tenants was long term and left his wash and belongings in the shared bathroom. His girlfriend visited on holidays and weekends and they moved a futon in and out of the small center room at all hours of the night, dragging it on the floor. She also smoked in the room by opening the window of the common room and hanging outside. The lady who brought us there spoke no English, which, of course is fine, but was snotty and short with us. The "breakfast" consisted of stale cookies and prepackaged cakes and a container of stale cereal. There were no instructions on how to use the stove or the washer. Our room as so small, we had no place to put our suitcases. There was no place to hang a wet towel. On the day of Check out, which we were told in no uncertain terms, was at 10:00, she showed up and 9:59 and stood there with her arms folded. I would never stay here again. It goes to show that you really do get what you pay for.

   Ce qui nous a plu dans le B&B Venezia Mia est : - la position centrale dans Venise, entre la gare, le pont Rialto et la place St Marc - l'accueil de Cristina - la salle de cuisine disponible et équipée pour se faire des repas. - le rapport qualité/prix pour être au centre de Venise Un conseil : demander la grande chambre, elle est très spacieuse

   Les points un peu décevants :
   - le petit déjeuner léger à se faire soi-même
   - la salle de bain à partager (1 pour 3 chambres), mais très propre
   - l'isolation phonique limitée entre les chambres

   The place itself is great (we appreciated especially the possiibility to use the kitchen, the living room and the wi-fi) and its owner is great too: she not only provided us with all information we needed and solved any difficulty we had, but it was also great pleasure to talk with her. Recommended!

   the host was very helpful and accommodating. Room was small but adequate. It was more like a share house as the owner did not live there, but left breakfast items out - this was fine with us. Great location.

   It was pleasant to have a kitchen available for cooking meals. It saved me a few euros to spend elsewhere on souvenirs in Venice! The staff was very accommodating. They put a fan in the room and helped my Mom upstairs with luggage.

   We stayed at the B and B for 4 days, and loved every minute of it. It is very well situated, which places it within walking distance to everthing in Venice - important in a city where your legs are the main means of transportation. It is a second floor B an B, but the steps are not difficult. Our room was lovely, and we had full access to the kitchen, living room and dining room, sort of like sharing a great Venetian apartment. For breakfast, we were able to help ourselves to cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and all the juice and espresso that we could drink, whenever we wanted it. The proprietors, Cristina and Nicola, were friendly, generoius, and extoradinarily helpful. We felt very spoiled and didn't want to leave.
