   la cortesia dei titolari, la loro accoglienza e disponibilità insieme alla bellezza della villa, tramandata rispettando la sua storia pur rendendola funzonale alle esigenze odierne ci ha permesso di "dimorare" per oltre una settimana sentendoci quasi in famiglia.    la posizione è strategica, puoi lasciare comodamente la macchina nel posto e spostarti a vedere i paesi limitrofi con la circumvesuviana, i proprietari sono splendidi, disponibili, e gentilissimi. se volete informazioni storiche, su Napoli e dintorni sono preparatissimi e disponibili al dialogo.

   The house is beautiful - a true gem that reminds you of the 18th and early 19th, with a big garden. Position was convenient for us between Naples and Pompei. The fact that are no foreign tourists at Ercolano and the typical italian lifestyle when you go at the port is a blessing (passiaggiata, ...) and a great way to start your vacation. The restaurant we had diner in was also of the best of our entire italian stay (and not the most expensive - Regina Elisabetta). The owners were also very kind with us, which is always appreciated. Beautiful rooms also (big big big), w/ very good comfort (very recent bathroom).

   The air conditionning is a supplement (5e / day), I think it should be included in the price.
   
   I would also suggest more home made products for the breakfast (the homemade crostinis were great, but it will be great to have homemade orange juice and if possible cake or tart), because apart from the salty stuff, all the sweet food was pre-packaged, which is something I don't expect of a B&B.
   
   But don't get me wrong, I really liked staying at San Genariello, and I'm being a bit fussy.

   Wir waren von der schönen Unterkunft, die etwas ganz Besonderes ist, begeistert. Das Haus ist schon fast ein Museum. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich. Man hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet. Ein Parkplatz war vorhanden. Der Standort war ein guter Startpunkt für Erkundungen. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen.

   chiamarlo semplicemente "bed and breakfast" è decisamente riduttivo; abbiamo trascorso 2 fantastici giorni vivendo tra i preziosi ricordi di famiglia della sig.ra emma a metà tra golfo e vesuvio, immersi in uno splendido parco di piante secolari. si respira l'aria del settecento borbonico passeggiando nelle stanze e si ammira una vista mozzafiato affacciandosi dal terrazzo, senza parlare della cortesia dei proprietari sempre discreti e pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. l'enorme e bellissima camera da letto, l'ambiente tranquillo e una colazione davvero super, a due passi dagli scavi di ercolano, a due passi dalla stazione circumvesuviana, a due passi dal centro di portici (da vedere), il san gennariello è un posto dove speriamo di tornare molto presto!

   San Gennariello is a little piiece of heaven. There are exquisite gardens and inside the house is sparkingly maintained in eighteenth century splendour yet, thanks to the Cozzi family, it has a very homely and cosy feel too. We loved having breakfast out in the courtyard and were royally served throughout our stay by our friendly hosts. One last thing, if they give you advice on where to eat....TAKE IT. Sarah and I can't wait to go back.

   Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich, das B & B hat einen unglaublichen Charme und man fühlt sich beim Aufenthalt in die Vergangenheit zurück versetzt. Die Lage ist super, die Sehenswürdigkeiten (Vesuv, Ausgrabungen, etc. ) und Napoli sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Unbedingt Franceso nach einer Pizzeria fragen. Er hilft sehr gerne weiter.

   - die überaus herzliche Aufnahme durch die Vermieter - die gute Betreuung und Beratung bei allen Unternehmungen - das traumhafte Haus samt Garten, schöner als auf den Bildern - die gute Lage als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge - das gute Frühstück - die Dachterasse mit Blick auf Neapel

   An der Unterkunft gibt es nichts zu kritisieren!!
   Die Stadt Ercolano ist allerdings nicht unbedingt eine Zierde der Region.
   Aber sie ist interessant und somit doch auch reizvoll.

   Prachtvolle Villa aus dem 18. Jh., tolle Ausstattung, reizender Innenhof und Garten. Gute Lage zu Neapel und den Sehenswürdigkeiten am Golf v. Neapel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber-Familie!

   Il B&B è situato in una posizione veramente ottimale e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici. Questo permette di raggiungere in tempi brevi i principali scavi archeologici, il Vesuvio e il centro di Portici (a due passi) ma anche Napoli e zone limitrofe. La struttura principale (molto signorile) e il giardino (ben curato) in cui è situata trasmettono il fascino dell'epoca settecentesca. La pulizia degli ambienti è ottima. Ciò che ha soddisfatto maggiormente è comunque la disponibilità e la cortesia della famiglia gestrice del B&B, sempre pronta ad andare incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti.

   This Bed & Breakfast was in a large beautiful house. It was previously a palace, and this was very evident- huge rooms, beautiful marble and granite, high ceilings, huge chandeliers, full of interesting collections and decorations. Beautiful view of Vesuvius, and of Naples from the roof. Beautiful gardens The best breakfast we had of any of our accommodations. The hosts were kind and helpful, particularly the son, who spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the area, and concerned that we enjoy our stay. I wish we were able to stay longer than one night, and would certainly stay there again.

   E' un pò scomodo il bagno fuori dalla camera . Andrebbero evitate le merendine confezionate a colazione, anche aggiungendo semplicemente qualche biscotto all'ottima marmellata del giardino

   Our hostess (Emma Cozzi ?) was charming and very helpful and we were made to feel very welcome, we soon struck up a friendly rapport. The villa is a very fine, spacious and interesting with historic family connections. Our accomodation in an annexe appartment was spacious , comfortable and clean.

   Perhaps the location was not ideal, set in Ercolano, where the streets are quite narrow and the traffic is often busy and hectic.
