   Lovely room and owners, very helpful with luggage and maps. Perfect location if you have a car but not if you don't.

   Buses are available but you need to buy a ticket from a Tabac shop in a town and as this is in the country,no shops near, you can't buy a ticket. You could be fined for not having a ticket before travelling into Siena. It is possible to walk but only if you are fit. Breakfast is OK for 3euros but an awful lot of cakes and very sweet things although there was a little cheese. Its all a bit haphazard.

   Fredricka and her mother were very accommodating with day trip ideas and made the best espressos

   Nothing that we can think of other then breakfast items were minimal to choose from but espresso and cappuccinos were excellent.

   we loved the owners and family and their friendliness and helpfulness. it was not far outside of the walls of siena and could walk but two of the mornings they drove us to town as a little extra perk. a beautiful area. would love to stay there again.

   the only thing that we wished for was more of a shoulder or sidewalk to walk on going back and forth to town.

   Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful with our questions. One review we read said the bus into town was free. It is very reasonable and not free but relies somewhat on the honor system

   This was our launching point for the rest of our trip to Italy. We staying four nights and everything was great. Carla was very helpful with the bus, restaurant suggestions and an umbrella! Wonderful homemade jams with breakfast. Lovely outdoor gardens and view. No extra charge for access to their reliable internet service. Wonderful quiet location with an energizing walk into town.

   Podere Le Vigne is absolutely charming. The walk into Siena was direct and not too long, very doable. Carla was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed the charm of the B&B and looking out at the Tuscan Hills, a perfect location. We would definitely recommend.

   This was an exceptional experience - not only the beauty and cheerfulness of the place, but the wonderful atmosphere created by Federica and her mother Carla - truly welcoming, interesting people, went out of their way to connect with visitors and help them with ideas, information - very knowlegeable, helpful people. Breakfasts were lovely, we felt really lucky to have stayed there and ended up remaining an extra night. Highly recommended, and of course in a perfect location for visiting Sienna and other key parts of Chianti.
