   Lovely clean, spacious, unique farmhouse with wonderful panoramic views. Close to Bologna. Very friendly host. Was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to call home during our visit to Italy.

   Quite remote with long bumpy, gravel road to reach - we weren't aware of this prior to arrival. No signs indicating actual B&B therefore very difficult to find BUT since our stay here we have been in contact with the owner and she has told us that she is working to improve both the road access to the farmhouse as well as providing directional signs to ease visitors in finding this lovely home.
   Very unpleasant smell in bathroom during our visit BUT since our stay we have been assured that this problem has been rectified and it no longer exists.
   Upper floor with bedrooms only accessible by narrow spiral staircase - which would be difficult for elderly or heavier set person. No tourist info maps of immediate area or of Bologna.

Bed & Breakfast Monte Brollo, recently renovated, is located on the Italian Apennines between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, between Bologna to Florence.
