    I loved staying here, it's a great place with friendly owners.
    Everything was great. You do have to climb a few stairs to get to the apartment.

    The perfect bed and breakfast, beautifully renovated accommodation, wonderful hosts and centrally located in Lucca.

    B&B Evelina is in a great location just off the main street in Lucca. Anna and Dessie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were lovely and we had a lovely view over the rooftops of Lucca. I would definitely stay here again.

    We loved staying at Evelina. The location was perfect, the room was gorgeous and Anna and Dessie were full of helpful tips. When we arrived we were greeted with cold bottled water and shown to our rooms. The entire place was immaculate and it seemed as though the bathrooms (shared) were cleaned after each shower. They were spotless and never felt shared. We truly enjoyed Lucca and Evelina was a fabulous place to stay.

    Evelina is a beautiful bed and breakfast located in an excellent location in Lucca. Once you know where the B&B is you will have no problems exploring the town. Des and Anna are fantastic hosts providing local knowledge of places to eat, shop and explore.
    The only hestitation is there are quite a few stairs as the apartment is on the top floor, therefore, the view is spectacular. But if you do struggle with stairs then be aware of this when booking.

    lovely rooms, lovely owners and great location right in the middle of the old town. The owners came out in the early hours of the morning to make sure we found our way to the b+b on the first night. They even called us after we checked out when they found out there was a train strike to make sure we made alternative travel arrangements.

    One of the most wonderful travel experiences we've ever had. Anna and Desi were wonderful hosts making you feel truly welcomed and giving us plenty of insights in lesser known gems of Lucca. Will be very, very hard to top!

    Excellent in all ways. Good to know that there are three flights of stairs to get up to the B&B, though! The people running this are fabulous - tons of local knowledge, polite, helpful, lovely people. The rooms and bathrooms are meticulously cleaned, and the decor is very attractive. Great location. One of the nicest places we have stayed.

    We stayed at the Evelina at the end of our honeymoon, and all I can say is that is was perfect! The owners Desie and Anna made us feel totally at home and gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and visit in and around Lucca. It was central, clean, and welcoming- a cup of tea was even offered as soon as we arrived! We would definately recommend this B & B to all of our friends and family.

    Our room was large and comfortable and there are 3 communal bathrooms each with their own colour scheme. Hosts, Anna & Dessie, have created a beautiful place in the heart of Lucca. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening looking across the roof tops to the Clock Tower. If you're looking for a quite place to relax after a day walking around Lucca or exploring the Tuscan country side the we highly recommend Evelina.

    The hosts, Anna and Dessie, are the most welcoming and helpful people you could ever find, always ready to give you information on things to see, places to go to, buses to take etc. The rooms as well as the bathrooms are lovely, very nice and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings sometimes talking to Anna and Dessie or to other guests. We would definitely stay there again, if we came back to Lucca.

    Room was lovely over-looking the garden, so very peaceful. The accomodation clean and fresh and had been decorated in its original style which gave it considerable charm. Anna and Dessie could not have been more helpful and informative. Breakfast is not provided at the B&B, but you are given a voucher to use at the cafe-bar just round the corner. Anna and Dessie will give you tea or coffe at any time if you need it. The B&B is within walking distance of practically everything you need in Lucca.

    Anne and Dessi did their utmost to make our stay very pleasant and were very attentive to our requests. The ambience of the B&B is wonderfully Italian and location is great. Will defintely go back there again
    Breakfasts were organised with local cafes which were very nice but i think when Annie has her breakfast room setup ,having a breakfast provided in-house will be much more convenient. I know they have plans in the very near future for to provide breakfast in house

    We had a very nice and clean room with a good bed. Although the bathroom is not in the bedroom, there are enough very clean bathrooms so this is never a problem. The B&B is really in the middle of Lucca and still a very quiet place with a balcony where you can enjoy your drinks and look at Lucca. Most of all: The owners are very very nice and do anything they can to make your stay as nice as it can be.

    We had a very nice time here. The location is perfect and the rooms are very clean. Anna and Dessie are very friendly and want to show you everything. They really contribute to our stay. We would definately recommend this B&B to other people. The bathroom is not in the room, but that was no problem. There are 3 very clean and good bathrooms. There is also a very nice balcony to sit and relax.

    Anna and Dessie, the proprietors,are among the finest people I've ever met. Theyare most gracious and generous with wonderful senses of humor. They helped me carry my heavy suitcases to the train station. Coffee and cookies are always in the kitchen, and a refrigerator is available for guests. They are very knowledgable about a variety of subjects and enjoy interesting conversations with their guests. I consider them friends and am so happy to have found B&B - Evelina through B&B Planet.     Being inside the "walls" was great. The proprietors, Anna & Desi really gave our stay the personal touch. Our room (Camera 1) was huge with a nice outlook. There were 3 shared bathrooms all beautifully decorated in a yesteryear style. The whole B&B was tastefully decorated and furnished. The bathrooms were the cleanest and best of all the places we stayed at. Highly recommended. Breakfast is at a local cafe with issued vouchers.
    We loved everthing about "Evelina". Stairs could be a problem for some older tourists but after 2 days in beautiful Lucca (mid Sept) we didn't even notice them.

    The owner actually met us at the train station and gave a walking guide to the town on the way to the b&b. Gave us bottles of cold water on arrival. Room was very large filled with antiques in keeping with the age of the building. Communal balcony. Bookshelf where books can be swapped. Owners were very helpful in providing and getting further info on trains, buses and cars.

    The location was perfect within the historical centre. The standard of the rooms in terms of decor and cleanliness was extremely high. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and I would definitely recommend this to others. Will definitely be coming back!
