   Our hostess was most welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great.

   We arrived late November to a cold, rather sparsely furnished room. We had to keep our coats on for at least an hour until the room warmed up. The bed was hard and we had to request soap. The accommodation description promised an upstairs living area with fire and DVDs. We were told we could not use it - apparently they did want to put the heat on. We therefore spent a rather cold miserable evening in our bedroom. We left the next day to find something more comfortable.

   The rooms were spacious, clean and with plently of place for our belongings. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed making dinner and eating in the large kitchen next to the rooms and we knew in advance that this was with added cost. Incredible view. Nice and quiet. We would defnitely go back there.

   Getting to the b&b without a car was complicated as the public transportation in the area is once an hour and taxis from lucca are expensive. We took bikes one day into Lucca and the ride was along a busy main road, we got lost in the dark coming back.
   
   The cinema room was offered to us, but during our stay the hosts' inlaws slept there so we were not comfortable going in. The tv in the dining area only had italian channels. A Tv in the room with english channels would have been better.

   Die Lage der Unterkunft war super. Sehr ruhig, aber sehr nahe an Lucca. Lucca war einfach und schnell von dort zu erreichen. Die Eigentümer waren total nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war, wie schon in den anderen Gästebewertungen gelesen, einfach fantastisch. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert.

   The hosts were very nice people, helpful with suggestions for restaurants, and made a great breakfast. The room was big, and quite comfortable. The country location was quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed the family pets. Tourist information was available in the common area. The location is good for access to both Pisa and Lucca.

   The attic room with satellite and DVD's noted on the website, was not made available. We were generally happy with the B&B, but the very wet spring seemed to have left some areas damp and in need of attention, like the guest terrace and outside stairway.

   First of all - the breakfast is excellent. The hosts Barbara and Alassandro are very friendly and helpfull. The kitchen and the big balcony with the view and quietness are wonderfull.
