   The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen and space to easily accommodate a large family. We were met at the nearby water taxi stop by a very friendly and helpful family member who took time out to show us where to find the basics.

   The location of the apartment - on the corner of two canals, meant that we were constantly woken by water traffic noise from below, when boat drivers call out or sound their horns to alert other drivers they are approaching the corner. We were woken & kept awake each day by this. Despite this & the noise coming from the apartment above, the owners request that paying customers "be silent" after 10pm at night. We thought this was unreasonable as there was no mention of this rule on the website. The lack of a shower hose holder, shower curtain, bath mats & hand towels made the bathroom very inconvenient. Also we thought that the provision of only one old pedestal fan (second one was broken) for such a large apartment was very poor - especially as it was so hot.

Holiday Apartment Ca Venexia is a spacious (about 120sqm) and very "sunny" flat on the second floor of a XVIII Century Venetian building, completely restored and refurnished early 2009.

All the rooms have a wonderful view over a typical canal where the gondolas ride their tours. Wonderful Canal View with Gondola Serenade

It is composed by a nice entrance where there is a nice little sofa, 2 double rooms (which can be triple ones), bathroom, a living room with double sofa bed, a dining room with another sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment is also endowed with TV with DVD, Radio and CD player, Washing machine, Fan, Self controlled heating.
