   Tutto sommato la qualità dei divani letto è buona ed il posto abbastanza silenzioso.

   La scarsa pulizia del locale e l'odore sgradevole e persistente di umido. L'appartamento è un garage adibito a...e questo già la dice lunga. La completa mancanza d'informazioni e d'interesse da parte dei gestori. Se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa loro erano al mare...o in bicicletta! Non si sono nemmeno presentati per la riconsegna chiavi! Il televisore: chiamarlo tale è una grossa forzatura. La promiscuità del bagno concesso in uso al "garage" senza chiave per poterlo chiudere e la possibilità di ritrovarsi a contatto con gli altri abitanti del piano di sopra....

   The position to the city of Lucca and train station and services.

   The host did not welcome us or provide any planning, or information to support our stay. The outdoor area offered to us was across the road from the dumpsters and two busy intersections. The website claimed light and airy, and it is a converted garage with not a lot of lightness and it smelled damp.
   We did advise the host of our disappointments with the accommodation and the lack of support and we gave him a list of suggestions for future guests eg. a file with a map, Doctor, emergency numbers, train and bus information, nearest phone. He was happy to receive our comments and suggestions and said he would update the website descriptions where it failed currently. We had a good stay but it was made hard work because of the lack of information and easy access to the hosts.

   The Studio had everything that we required with lots of cooking gear, plates, cutlery etc. It was perfectly located with a large supermarket about 200mts away, a restaurant 50mts and a laundry 100mts. 700mts from the city wall. Quiet, safe area.

   When we first arrived, there was a slightly musty smell. It went away as soon as we opened the windows and aired the studio. This was only a slight distraction which I was hesitant to include in the "didn't satisfy" category.

   The owners ( Aldo)very very helful - picking us up from the railway station and giving us an orientation tour of our location to get our bearings. He couldnt do enough for us and lives a few doors away.The location was excellent, close to the tourist sites, walking distance to the railway station, supermarket and laundramat.Well supplied kitchen.

   The studio was musty and dusty - needed a good clean out and airing.
   While the kitchen was well supplied with dishwasher, the sink was old style cement and badly needs updating to improve hygiene.
   The bathroom is just out of the main unit and in an area shared by the upstairs occupants to access their bikes, laundry and storage area. This is not entirely satisfactory. The unit gives the appearance of a garage area made over. The shower recess is in need of an upgrade as it is very small and water easily floods out of the shower curtain into the main bathroom area.

   Close proximity to walled city (10 min walk), train station (10 min walk), supermarket (2 min), great cafe (1 min), local shops including pharmacy (5 min), launderette if needed (2 min). Very nice residential area. Very relaxed and helpful patrons.
